Taylor Swift has filed a countersuit against a former radio host who allegedly groped her during a 2013 meet and greet, Billboard has confirmed.
Following David Mueller’s suit against Swift in September — which claimed he was fired from his job and banned from her concerts based on false allegations that he groped the pop star before a Denver concert two years ago — Swift now is striking back, People initially reported. She is demanding a jury trial against Mueller and says if she wins, she will donate any money to “charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.”
Mueller had been fired from two on-air radio jobs prior to this incident and hadn’t worked as an on-air personality since 2006, according to the countersuit. It also states Mueller had admitted Swift was assaulted but blamed it on “his superior” at KYGO radio station, Eddie Haskell.

“Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault — it was Mueller — and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit,” reads the countersuit. “Resolution of this counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts.”
According to Swift’s countersuit, Mueller and his girlfriend were at the Pepsi Center for a meet and greet with the musician when he “intentionally reached under her skirt and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner against her will and without her permission.”
“Mueller did not merely brush his hand against Ms. Swift while posing for the photograph,” allege the papers. “He lifted her skirt and groped her.”
