Taylor Swift is holding strong, abstaining from licensing 1989 to any digital streaming service — including Apple Music.
A rep for Swift’s label Big Machine Records has confirmed with Billboard the pop star’s hit album will not be available on Apple Music when it launches on June 30.

Swift very publicly pulled her entire catalog from Spotify in November, just days before releasing 1989, citing the services’ freemium model as devaluing music.
Meanwhile, her old music is available for paid subscription-based streaming services such as Tidal and Rdio, but 1989 is only available for sale online.
According to BuzzFeed, which first reported the news, her back catalog will be on Apple Music too, which will operate with a paid subscription model but is offering the first three months for free.
