Teddy Schwarzman, president and CEO of Black Bear Pictures and the producer behind the Oscar-winning Imitation Game, Mudbound and the upcoming Ben Is Back, is set to keynote Winston Baker’s Script to Screen Summit on Sept. 7 in Toronto.
Schwarzman will address the half-day summit during the Toronto International Film Festival as part of a conversation to be moderated by The Hollywood Reporter deputy film editor Tatiana Siegel. The conference also will feature a panel on film scripts led by Andrew Lauren Productions’ D.J. Gugenheim and Jane the Virgin executive producer Gary Pearl, and a co-production panel that includes Ingenious Media’s Andrea Scarso and XYZ Films partner Nick Spicer.
The confab also plans a film financing panel to include Adhrucia Apana, managing director of Creative Wealth Media; Kandoo Films producer Howard Barish; and Daniel Levin, managing partner of Narrative Capital.
There also will be sessions on film marketing and cross-platform distribution.
