The seventh installment of the Furious franchise, appropriately titled, Furious 7 took home the Choice Movie: Action award at Sunday night’s Teen Choice Awards (star Vin Diesel also paid tribute to co-star Paul Walker who passed away in 2013). The emotional moment and surfboard trophy presentation was rivaled only by fellow Furious actress Jordana Brewster‘s metallic beauty look — a moment her longtime makeup artist Kayleen McAdams calls “a sophisticated golden bronze eye and a fun lip” to anchor the actress’ young and flirty strapless red floral dress.
Using celebrity favorite makeup line, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty and some Pond’s Cleansing Towelettes to freshen Brewster’s complexion, McAdams gave the actress a summer-appropriate bronze eye and pretty, flawless skin.

“Jordana has beautiful skin and takes great care of herself, so I used WonderGlow [from Charlotte Tilbury] to add a luminosity just on the high points of her face,” says McAdams. “I love this product and always use it as a first step before applying the Light Wonder foundation.”
For a pink flush that wouldn’t look heat induced, but fresh and sun tanned, McAdams used Charlotte Tilbury X Norman Parkinson Colour of Youth Cream Blush ($58) and the brand’s Filmstar Bronze & Glow in Sun Tan & Sun Light ($80) to hollows of the cheeks, temples and across the bridge of the nose. Once all the cream products were used, she set the cream bronzer with a powder bronzer — Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight in Medium-Dark ($68) — to lock in her golden glow.
Those bronze eyes were the effect of Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in Bette ($32) applied across the lids, into the crease, and along the bottom lash line. “The shadow sets perfectly and won’t budge even in the heat,” says the makeup artist. Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘N’ Kohl Eye Pencil in Barbarella Brown ($27) was applied around the eye on the waterline. To add depth, she applied the sculpt shade of Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight in Medium-Dark to the crease of the eye and bottom lash line.
After applying false lashes, McAdams used the cream eyeliner to blend the lashes to Brewster’s natural lash line and finished with two coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes to create an open-eyed look.

She punctuated the face with an unexpected pop of coral, using Charlotte Tilbury’s new Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna ($32).
“I loved the idea of doing a coral lip rather than the expected red,” says McAdams. “I used a little lip balm to moisten Jordana’s lips and then filled in the entire lip with Sexy Sienna. I applied the product straight from the tube, cheating the edges of the lip a little to look even more full. There was just enough room in her purse to take the lipstick for touchups!”
Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body ($65) was used to sculpt and illuminate Brewster’s already toned limbs.

“As a final finishing step I used Supermodel Body all over Jordana’s body to give that glow,” says the makeup artist, “With an outdoor carpet, there would be lots of chances for the sun to catch the light and make her limbs look sun kissed!”
With the sweltering Los Angeles weather, it wasn’t a stretch to look sun-kissed, but svelte and sculpted? Anyone stepping onto a red carpet will always be amenable to that.
