While the fans were singing along, a slideshow of teens who are helping the world played above the star. Although the song started off slow, the artist picked it up a beat and fans rocked out while singing the lyrics. The singer- songwriter of the self-empowerment song has been nominated for the Choice Summer Song award.
The Teen Choice Awards took place at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
