Bill Cosby is back under the microscope with three new accusers, including a woman who used to work as an assistant at the William Morris Agency.
Famed feminist attorney Gloria Allred hosted the new accusers during a news conference Wednesday in L.A. (the conference was live streamed on TMZ’s website). The women were identified as Linda Kirkpatrick, Lynn Neal, and a woman named “Kacey,” who claimed she met Cosby through her assistant post at WMA (now William Morris Endeavor).
Each woman told their own story about how Cosby sexually abused them, as Allred put it, “when they were young and extremely vulnerable.”
Related Stories
Kacey said she met Cosby through her old boss at WMA, Tom Illius, who represented the actor. Kacey said Cosby invited her over to his house to read a script, specifically a scene containing a kiss, and used the scene to force a kiss upon her.
On another occasion, Kacey claimed she was drugged by Cosby during a meeting at the Hotel Bel-Air and woke up hours later with Cosby naked beside her in bed. Kacey said she was so traumatized, she was forced to resign from her WMA job.
Illius passed away in 2011. An email sent to WME was not returned.
Kirkpatrick said she met Cosby at a tennis club in Las Vegas in 1981, when she was 25. She said Cosby invited her to a party in his hotel room and offered her a fruity drink, and she woke up hours later with Cosby on top of her, kissing her.
Neal told a similar story, saying she also met Cosby in her 20s at a tennis club. Neal said she went out to dinner with Cosby and began feeling woozy after drinking a shot of vodka, which Cosby had ordered for her. She said Cosby had sex with her while she was still disoriented, and she has no recollection of how she got home that night.
In addition to the alleged victims’ stories, Allred criticized Cosby’s former Cosby Show co-star Phylicia Rashad for defending the actor. Allred said, “Phylicia, you should be supporting these women rather than joining Cosby’s paid ‘attack dogs’ who are trying to undermine them any way they can.”
This is Allred’s second news conference in as many months. In December, three more women — identified as Helen Hayes, Beth Ferrier and one simply as “Chelan” — accused Cosby of sexually abusing them as young women.
During the conference, Allred proposed a settlement that amounted to a similar method used by the Catholic Church when settling accusations of priest molestations, even though the statute of limitations on all of these cases have expired.
Cosby has yet to address any of the sexual assault allegations against him.
