It’s a monumental day for Tiësto. The EDM superstar is headlining day one of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami tonight and simultaneously launching his very own channel on Sirius XM, called Tiësto’s Club Life Radio.
“I’m really excited about it because my Club Life show was already broadcast on Sirius XM and everybody loved it,” the DJ told Billboard on Thursday. “The ratings were very high and they were just very interested in doing a whole channel with me. I really like the idea and I have so much knowledge about Electronic Dance Music, so I was like ‘let’s do it’.”
The 24-7 commercial-free channel, featuring music created and curated by Tiësto, will launch with an event during Miami Music Week at the SiriusXM Music Lounge. The special, airing live at 2:00 p.m. ET, will also feature sets by artists on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom Label, including Dada Life and Tommy Trash.
“Dada Life is one of my favorite artists,” he told us before also previewing what he’ll be playing at his set on Friday night.

“Basically just a fresh new set. I do it every year, just like everybody else,” he said. “Ultra is just a legendary festival already and I think it’s the only festival in the world that you can play every year and people expect you to play every year. Because at Coachella, if I want to play every year they wouldn’t let me. They want new artists every year. It’s amazing to be a part of [Ultra] every year.”
He also said fans will hear his new collabo with Ultra Records’ Wolfgang Gartner, a song called “We Own the Night” that he notes is “dedicated to all the DJs over the world. The lyrics are great and I think it’s a very catchy song.”
