TikTok star Avani Gregg is ready to tell all in her first memoir, it was announced Thursday.
The digital creator and social media personality will release her memoir through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. In her upcoming book, Gregg will detail her childhood in Brownsburg, Indiana and how suffering a back injury while competing as a gymnast led her to her social media journey at the age of 14.
“My fans mostly know me from social media where I make videos and create makeup looks, so I’m really excited to share my past, my personal life, and how I got to where I am today,” Gregg said of her new book.
Known for her viral “clown face” makeup tutorial, Gregg has become a recognized name in social media, generating nearly 40 million followers. Gregg went on to win the 2020 Shorty Award for TikToker of the Year. She has also established brand partnerships with Marc Jacobs and Dolce & Gabbana and secured a role on Brat TV’s Chicken Girls.
In addition to the memoir, Gregg will also simultaneously release an audiobook that she narrates.
Vice President and Executive Editor of Gallery Books Jeremie Ruby-Strauss acquired World English and open market rights for Gregg’s memoir from Simon Green at A3 Artists Agency. Gregg is represented by A3 Artists Agency and Erika Monroe-Williams from Moxie Artists.
A release date for Gregg’s memoir has yet to be announced.
