TLCThe future of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is uncertain as TLC has issued a statement saying the channel is “reassessing the future of the series” following a report alleging that June Shannon has been romantically connected to a man convicted of child molestation.
“TLC is not currently in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series,” read a statement from the channel.
Shannon, known as Mama June on the show, is alleged to be currently seeing Mark McDaniel, who spent 10 years in prison on a child molestation conviction and is registered as a sex offender in Georgia, TMZ reported on Thursday.
The fourth season of the show concluded on Aug. 14.
