The worlds of New York and European fashion houses often descend on Hollywood at some point over Oscar week, as it’s the perfect time for the three glam capitals to come together.
This week, Milanese luxury label Tod’s made over the third floor of its Rodeo Drive boutique (333 N. Rodeo Dr.) with the debut of the J.P.Club, Tod’s Sartorial Collection for men. The fashion house will host a private cocktail party at its Beverly Hills storefront on Friday to celebrate its debut and kick off Oscar weekend. Considering Matthew McConaughey is a fan of the brand, who knows who might show up.

This third-floor “club” is the new home of the J.P. Tod’s Sartorial Collection for men — which will only be sold in the J.P. Club in Milan (the first of its kind), Paris, Tokyo and Shanghai. It’s a new exclusive offer from the company with a focus on leather and leather treatments, taking the hide back to its roots, so to speak.
The men’s shoes and bags are treated in the tradition of Italian craftsmen to allow the leather to show its best essence. Yet the shoes and bags work for weekdays and weekends, too, with the loafers and lace-ups. Prices range from 1,100 Euros (or $1,800) and above.
With Father’s Day only a few months away, we can’t think of a better gift to give dear ol’ dad.
