Licensing giant IMG has been tapped by Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and business partner Alex Guerrero to extend the global reach of TB12, their global health and wellness company.
The agreement with IMG, a subsidiary of Endeavor, will expand TB12’s traditional retail and ecommerce presence as its products help consumers recover from injury, or prevent injury.
“We are excited to collaborate with Alex, Tom and the TB12 team on an expanded set of branded nutritional products, fitness equipment, digital innovations and retail partnerships that will introduce their philosophy to new audiences around the world in an accessible and authentic way,” Bruno Maglione, president of licensing at IMG, said in a statement.
The superstar quarterback, who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, earned six Super Bowl Rings during his time with the New England Patriots.
Off the field, Brady’s TB12, which he co-founded in 2013, has physical locations in Boston, Foxborough and Tampa, with plans to open additional retail locations that combine in-person training and treatments.
In 2015 Brady published The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance.
“Together with IMG, we will further democratize the principles that Tom and Alex have perfected over the years and share them with new audiences to become the world’s most trusted authority on health and wellness,” TB12 CEO John Burns added in his own statement.
Brady’s film and TV credits include appearances in Living With Yourself, Ted 2, Entourage, Family Guy and Stuck on You.
