Tom Cruise has accepted many impossible missions over the years. He’s dangled from planes and tall buildings, had sharp knives dropped within a whisker of his eyeball. And now he’s performed a lip sync battle with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
The Hollywood superstar teamed up with the talk show host for a lip sync-off to songs such as The Rolling Stones’ “Undercover of the Night,” The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face,” Meat Loaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” and the climax: The Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling.”
Cruise, who is promoting the latest installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, would have been unbeatable had the challenge been to slide across the stage and lip sync to Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll.”
“No, that wouldn’t be fair,” Cruise said as he teased the crowd and removed his jacket.
