TORONTO – The Rock of Ages is coming to Imax screens for a limited engagement.
Partnering yet again with Warner Bros. Pictures, the giant screen exhibitor will screen a digitally-remastered version day-and-date with New Line’s June 15 musical release based on the hit Broadway show.
Directed by Adam Shankman, Rock of Ages stars Tom Cruise as as rock star Stacee Jaxx, Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alec Baldwin.
“Warner Bros. and Tom Cruise have been great partners and an early look at Rock of Ages is getting great response,” Greg Foster, chairman and president of Imax Filmed Entertainment, reported Wednesday.
