Tom Whalley is moving from one part of the Universal Music Group to another.
His Loma Vista Recordings — home to St. Vincent, Little Dragon, Rhye, Cut Copy, Soundgarden and the Grammy-nominated Django Unchained soundtrack, among others — is headed to Concord Music Group in a new multiyear, worldwide strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, Concord will provide funding for new talent relationships and artist development, as well as comprehensive label services for the tastemaker-heavy current and future artist roster.
