Tracey Edmonds has signed with CAA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. She was previously with ICM.
Today the Edmonds Entertainment Group CEO was named a new co-host of Extra, along with ESPN alum Charissa Thompson. Both have been serving as special correspondents for the syndicated entertainment news program in the wake of Maria Menounos‘ departure and will officially begin co-hosting alongside Mario Lopez on Sept. 8.

Edmonds, a member of the PGA’s National Board of Directors, created, executive produces and appears in OWN’s Deion’s Family Playbook, which follows the life of retired football and baseball star Deion Sanders. (The two are romantically linked.) The docuseries’ spring run was the highest-rated such program in network history and has been picked up for another eight episodes. She also is producing the Lifetime telepic With This Ring, which is in the final stages of development with Sony Pictures Television. Her other credits include the Sony/Tristar wedding dramedy Jumping the Broom, which she produced as COO of Our Stories Films.
