The Transporter Refueled star Ed Skrein has signed with CAA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. He previously was with ICM Partners.
The London native played a younger version of Jason Statham’s action hero in this year’s reboot of the hit franchise. He also recently appeared in the Nicholas Hoult music-business dark satire Kill Your Friends, which had its North American premiere at Toronto last month.
Skrein will next be seen as a villain opposite Ryan Reynolds in Fox’s long-in-the-works adaptation of the Marvel comic Deadpool, as well as the fashion photographer lead in the Danish thriller The Model. He originated the role of Daario Naharis in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and his other film credits include Sword of Vengeance, Northmen – A Viking Saga and Ill Manors, his screen debut.
He continues to be repped by Kate Buckley at the U.K.’s 42 and by attorney Greg Slewett at Bloom Hergott.
