The deal will see UKTV content including Body of Proof (Alibi), Dynamo: Magician Impossible (Watch) and Grimm (Watch) made available to more households.
TalkTalk subscribers will have access to all of UKTV’s pay TV channel bouquet (Watch, Gold, Alibi, Eden, Good Food, Home and Blighty) via the TalkTalk Player, joining Sky and Virgin which currently carry the network’s suite of pay channels.
UKTV’s Freeview channels (Dave, Really and Yesterday) will also be available on YouView, and TalkTalk will be initially offering channel-branded VOD (video-on-demand) content from UKTV’s factual channel Eden and leading food channel, Good Food.
UKTV executive director, commercial Keith Porritt said: “Our agreement with TalkTalk means our channels and content will be available to even more consumers, and is recognition of the broad appeal of UKTV’s suite of channels.”
