USA Network has hired Reena Singh as vp, original scripted programming, it was announced Monday. She will report to Bill McGoldrick, evp, original scripted programming.
Singh, who came from Universal Cable Productions (UCP), will oversee production on Covert Affairs and Fairly Legal. While at UCP, she oversaw projects from the first initial pitch to pilot stage and worked with the Fairly Legal and In Plain Sight teams. She will be based in Los Angeles.
“USA is extremely lucky to have nabbed Reena,” said McGoldrick. “With her recent experience at our studio, UCP, she is familiar with the network and will bring her great taste and relationships to her executive role here at USA.”
Before UCP, Singh developed and produced original movies for Disney Channel, including High School Musical, Camp Rock and Lemonade Mouth.
