The Vancouver Film Festival on Thursday unveiled its Canadian film lineup, including Scooter Corkle’s Hollow in the Land, starring Glee’s Dianna Agron, and the Thomas Middleditch-starring comedy Entanglement.
Corkle’s indie thriller, which also stars Jared Abrahamson, Rachelle Lefevre and Shawn Ashmore, will be released in the U.S. by Vertical Entertainment. Also headed to Vancouver is Jason James’ Entanglement, a comedy starring Silicon Valley’s Middleditch and Jess Weixler (The Son) as his adoptive sister.
Other world bows in Vancouver include Ana Valine’s Once There Was a Winter, Melanie Wood’s Shut Up and Say Something, Boris Ivanov’s On Putin’s Blacklist and LaTiesha Ti’si’tla Fazakas and Natalie Bolla’s Meet Beau Dick: Maker of Monsters.
Also screening in Vancouver is Kyle Rideout’s Public Schooled, toplined by Archer star Judy Greer, which debuts in Toronto. The Vancouver Film Festival runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 17.
More lineup announcements, including the opening- and closing-night films, will be made in the coming weeks.
