Vanessa Redgrave Stars in Gucci Cruise Campaign [Instagram]
Following on the heels of Jared Leto’s Gucci Guilty ads is the Gucci Cruise campaign starring renowned British star Vanessa Redgrave. The 79-year-old was photographed at Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, by Glen Luchford. Redgrave is one of several ladies of a certain age to participate in major fashion campaigns recently. Joni Mitchell (Saint Laurent), Joan Didion (Celine) and Sophia Loren (Dolce & Gabbana) have each proved that they’ve still got it by starring in ads for major labels.
Christopher Kane Collaborates With Crocs [Fashionista]
Christopher Kane’s London Fashion Week runway was full of surprises — edgy evening gloves, Day-Glo orange handbags, over-the-top embellishments and…Crocs? Yes, high-fashion Crocs have officially happened. The British designer sent the slip-on rubber clogs, in a wide range of earth tones, down the runway Monday afternoon, each featuring geode embellishments custom created for Kane. Who knows, the Croc might just replace the Birkenstock as the go-to fashion sandal for spring.

What do Barneys New York, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and beloved tween mall chain Claire’s Accessories have in common? They’ve all come down with a severe case of Bieber fever, apparently. Claire’s is the latest retailer to debut a special collection of Justin Bieber merch, including pins, mugs and wallets, which are available at stores in the U.K. and online for between $5 and $16.
