This is one maze you don’t want to get stuck in.
The first trailer for The Maze Runner has debuted, and it shows James Dashner‘s dystopian novel in action.
The film centers on Thomas (Teen Wolf‘s Dylan O’Brien), a teenager who wakes up in an area called the Glade, which is inhabited by roughly 50 other boys and surrounded by a deadly maze. He has no memory of his past, and does not know why he has been brought there.

The film also stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones) and Kaya Scodelario.
“Every morning when those doors open, the runners look for a way out,” says Newt (Brodie-Sangster). “No one has ever survived a night in the maze.”
Wes Ball is directing the Fox film. The Maze Runner hits theaters Sept. 19.
