It has been almost five years since Michael Jackson died, but the King of Pop was the star attraction at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday in a special event to celebrate his posthumous album.
In a special show, a hologram image of the pop star performed “Slave to the Rhythm” from the blockbuster album.

The historic event had been kept under wraps before the launch of the star-filled awards show and came after the album Xscape was released on May 13 by Epic Records.
“It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen,” said Larry Klein, executive producer for the awards, before the show.
