Following an email from aide John Podesta to campaign donors, the former first lady and New York senator posted a video Sunday to announce her campaign.

The video begins with Americans discussing their plans for the future. “I’m getting ready to do something, too,” Clinton says in the clip. “I’m running for president.”
“Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion, so you can do more than just get by,” she continues. “You can get ahead and stay ahead because when families are strong, America is strong.”
