Benedict Cumberbatch is calm and collected in a new clip from the upcoming drama The Imitation Game.
In the scene, Alan Turing (Cumberbatch) gets a visit from a British commander (Charles Dance), who needs Turing’s help to crack the Enigma code and win World War II for the Allies.

Turing is not the least bit fazed when told that the mission is “impossible,” as he fires back with: “Let me try, and we’ll know for sure.” Quite the bold statement.
Director Morten Tyldum‘s film has picked up big wins at the Toronto Film Festival and the Hamptons Film Festival as Oscar season revs up. Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong co-star.
The Weinstein Company releases The Imitation Game on Nov. 21.
