The Hollywood Reporter spoke to four very jazzed nominees Mark Bridges (The Artist), Arianne Phillips (W.E.), Sharen Davis (The Help) and Trish Summerville (Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) about their nominations.
“I am beyond thrilled and humbled at being recognized by my peers for work that I am so proud of!,” said Phillips. She added, “Madonna is the first person I heard from this morning, she is really happy and super excited about the nomination.” Bridges told THR “It is very gratifying to be nominated by one’s peers, especially since we all design with each other in mind!”
Davis told THR: “I’m just excited that the film is being so well-received!” And Summerville admitted, “It’s very exciting! It’s so wonderful to have your work be recognized by your peers, I feel so fortunate to be doing what I love and in such creative company. This film was truly a dream to be a part of.”
