A true friend to filmmakers, she is backing forthcoming films from Wong Kar Wai (The Grand-masters), Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master), Andrew Dominik (Cogan’s Trade) and Bennett Miller (Foxcatcher). Not least of her recent power plays is her gambit to produce a reboot of the Terminator franchise.

But her current gig, producing the first of four adaptations of Suzanne Collins’ mega-selling Hunger Games trilogy for Lionsgate, will be a whole new blockbuster level, followed by the next Wimpy Kid film in August.
