Installed at Relativity in April, the longtime publicity and marketing exec came on to help build the expanding company into a full-fledged studio and distributor. A veteran of Universal, Disney, MGM and Revolution Studios, Curtin has the opening of the films Haywire (January), Act of Valor (February), The Raven and Mirror Mirror (March), House at the End of the Street (April) and Safe Haven (June) on her immediate agenda.
The self-starter and creator of The Guild Web series continued to build her Internet army with a lead in BioWare’s web series Dragon Age: Redemption. Meanwhile, Day continues to amass loyal followers on Twitter, as she nears the 2 million mark with buzz continuing to build for a follow-up to Joss Whedon‘s online hit Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.

The young CEO (and Oracle heiress) has lately infused Hollywood filmmaking with loads of both cash and creative ambition, beginning with last year’s Oscar-nominated True Grit remake that the Coen brothers made for Paramount. A true friend to filmmakers, she is backing forthcoming films from Wong Kar Wai (The Grand-masters), Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master), Andrew Dominik (Cogan’s Trade) and Bennett Miller (Foxcatcher). Not least of her recent power plays is her gambit to produce a reboot of the Terminator franchise.
SVP Scripted Development and Current Programming, AMC
Since joining AMC in August 2009, Fitzgerald has overseen AMC’s scripted efforts, which have delivered a string of critical and ratings hits including Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Killing, Hell on Wheels and The Walking Dead. The latter opened its second season with record-breaking ratings.

The film industry veteran — she held stints at New Regency, Miramax and Paramount Vantage — comes to the cabler after overseeing development and production on features including No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood and Andrew Niccol’s In Time. Her film ties blend well with the premium cabler’s continued roster of A-list talent.

The former Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group president spun Jeff Kinney’s bestselling Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series into a modest franchise for Fox that has grossed nearly $150 million worldwide. But her current gig, producing the first of four adaptations of Suzanne Collins’ mega-selling Hunger Games trilogy for Lionsgate, will be a whole new blockbuster level, followed by the next Wimpy Kid film in August.
Head TV Programming, Weinstein Company
The former co-president of Miramax Films reteamed with Harvey and Bob Weinstein in January in the brothers’ push into television, where she has helped develop Mob Wives: Chicago, a spinoff of the VH1 unscripted series being eyed as a potential Real Housewives-style franchise.

With campaigns like a face-altering poster for Sunday night’s Once Upon a Time, marketing efforts helped many freshman ABC series — including Revenge and Suburgatory — launch strong out of the crowded fall-premiere gate.
Silverman has had a hand in breaking major new acting talent in the past few years. Her client Emma Stone blew up in Easy A, Crazy Stupid Love and The Help and next stars in The Amazing Spider-Man. Ben Barnes and Garrett Hedlund have recently landed high-profile roles in studio movies, while TV ingenues Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Bella Thorne (Shake It Up!) continue to build multifaceted careers with her guidance.
