Every year there are a few unexpected faces in the front row (for better or worse). This season, we were pleasantly surprised to find Zelda Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams, gallivanting from show to show.

Her first stop was at the Tadashi Shoji presentation on Thursday, where she took a runway photo and shared it on Instagram. “I’m sure I looked like such a nerd with my full sized camera in the front row, but I love that I’ll get to look at these beautiful dresses again!” she captioned the shot. “There was just so much detail! What an incredible time. So floored to have him be my first ever NYFW runway!”
The next day she stopped by Edie Parker’s presentation before heading over to see Yigal Azrouel, where she sat next to Crazy, Stupid, Love actress Analeigh Tipton.

Her New York Fashion Week adventure didn’t stop there.
On Saturday evening, Williams was spotted front and center at the Monique Lhuillier show. Despite the photographers and reporters alike swarming around the star-studded front row (guilty), which included Bella Thorne, Jamie Chung, Skyler Samuel, Analeigh Tipton, Gillian Jacobs, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ashley Madekwe and Cara Santana, Williams remained zen among her fellow frow-ers.

So far, her experience at fashion week has been “amazing, frantic and beautiful and so elegant — everything that you get to watch is unbelievable,” she told Pret-a-Reporter before Lhuillier’s presentation. While Williams mentioned that she’s attended one show in Paris before, she noted, “this is my first proper [waves hands around to signify her surrounding].”
“It’s been so amazing,” said the 26-year-old actress. “And I like taking photos from the front rows so I get my own — it’s nice.”

Dressed in a strapless gown with a floral-embroidered skirt, Williams said she chose this particular look because she “wanted a fun departure. I’m really casual. I have two dogs, and I write at home. But I’m really excited that I get to do something that is very feminine and feels very me, but almost like [I’m] on vacation.” With two more shows to go, according to Williams, the (fashion) traveling continues.
