PARIS – Zodiak Media Group will orbit in a different direction with a re-brand and new corporate appointments, the international independent content group said on Tuesday.
The group is re-branding as Zodiak Media. Vincent Chalvon Demersay, CEO of Zodiak Media subsidiary Marathon Media, was named chief strategy officer for the group. He’ll work closely with group COO Jonathan Slow and his team and report to Group CEO David Frank.
David Michel was upped to senior vice-president of group marketing, and will keep his title as general manager of Marathon Media.
Valérie Tailland was promoted to director of group communication and will stay on as head of communication for Zodiak France.
Chalvon Demersay, Michel and Tailland are all based in Paris. Zodiak recently wrapped a complete refinancing in local markets though one international syndicate of banks managed from Paris.
“Our aim is to allow each of our producers to express their creative talents individually while being empowered by the scale and power of our combined activities,” Frank said of the re-financing.
Zodiak’s re-branding is part of a complete visual identity makeover highlighted by the company’s website: www.zodiakmedia.com.
Zodiak Media comprises 45 companies in 20 different countries and €600m in annual revenue and boasts popular international titles on the big and small screens including Millenium, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Wife Swap, Secret Millionaire and Totally Spies.
