Gerard Bocaccio Joins Entertainment One Television
The former Silver Pictures TV exec will grow the Canadian producer's scripted TV slate for the U.S. market.
BANFF, ALBERTA - Entertainment One has hired former Silver Pictures exec Gerard Bocaccio for its scripted TV division.
Bocaccio was named senior vp, U.S. scripted development at eOne Television, reporting to Michael Rosenberg, executive vp, U.S. scripted television.
Based in Los Angeles, Bocaccio will grow eOne’s slate of scripted programming for the U.S. marketplace.
"Gerard is a seasoned executive with a breadth of experience that spans all aspects of the development and production process necessary to create groundbreaking television," Rosenberg said in a statement Tuesday.
Bocaccio most recently consulted for Blumhouse Productions and the Discovery Channel with TV credits that include Stranded, Eye Candy and South of Hell.
Toronto-based eOne's TV credits include Saving Hope, Haven, Rookie Blue and Rogue.
