Gia Coppola to Direct Andrew Garfield, Maya Hawke in Romantic Drama 'Mainstream'
Nat Wolff and Jason Schwartzman will also star in the love-triangle drama.
Gia Coppola, who previously directed Palo Alto, is set to direct and co-write Mainstream, with Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke to star, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Jason Schwartzman and Nat Wolff have also been tapped to star in the drama about a love triangle.
Coppola co-wrote the script with Tom Stuart. CAA Media Finance will handle a domestic sale and Wild Bunch is set to introduce the indie drama to international buyers at AFM.
Fred Berger (La La Land, Destroyer) is producing. Robert Schwartzman and Holly Wiersma share the executive producer credits.
Coppola, whose grandfather is Francis Ford Coppola and aunt is Sofia Coppola, made her directorial debut with Palo Alto, which was inspired by the short stories of James Franco.
Coppola is repped by CAA and Untitled.
