Gibson gets O'Reilly radio slot

He'll take over beginning next month

NEW YORK -- Former Fox News Channel host John Gibson will take over Bill O'Reilly's radio show on Fox News Radio next month.

O'Reilly said last week that he would be unable to continue to do "The Radio Factor" because of his television commitments. Fox News said they would find someone to replace him in his popular three-hour slot.

Gibson, who anchored a program on Fox News until late last year, will begin "Gibson on Fox" on Jan. 19. He joined Fox News in 2000 from MSNBC and NBC News, where he was a talk-show host and reporter.
