See the Boots Gigi Hadid Designed With Stuart Weitzman
Plus, check out the short film James Franco directed to debut the Gigi boot.
Gigi Hadid continues to take her ideas to the drawing board.
After debuting her Tommy x Gigi collection in September, the supermodel has another project to present: the Gigi boot, designed in collaboration with Stuart Weitzman. Hadid revealed last month that she had been working with the shoe designer, but the actual design wasn't unveiled until Tuesday.
Hadid, who stars in the luxury shoe label's fall 2016 campaign, collaborated with Weitzman on a hiking boot-inspired, lace-up bootie with a stacked heel. The bootie comes in three fabrications: soft croco-calf leather ($598), iron-colored metallic specchio leather ($565) and copper metallic leather ($565). Packaged in a signature Gigi Hadid box, they are available at Stuart Weitzman stores and online.
The Gigi boot design is a celebration of Stuart Weitzman's partnership with Pencils of Promise (PoP), which focuses on creating quality elementary education programs in rural regions of developing nations. Weitzman has made a financial commitment to build three schools with PoP this fall: one each in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos.
To debut the booties, the brand enlisted James Franco for a short film starring Hadid. Titled #doitright, the clip sees Hadid showing off her boxing skills and taking down her opponents — all the while wearing the Gigi boot. If there's one thing we know about the social media-savvy supermodel, she can kick ass.
