Gil Bellows Feels 'Gravity's Pull' With Canadian Feature Shoot

Canadian actor continues burgeoning producer career with indie thriller now shooting in Havana.

TORONTO -- Canadian actor Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal, The Shawshank Redemption) has continued his burgeoning producer career with Gravity’s Pull, a Canadian low-budget feature now shooting in Cuba.

Vancouver-based Bellows, who has a producer credit on the recent Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO film Temple Grandin, co-wrote, acts, co-directs and co-produces the thriller about a Canadian businessman who hops a plane to Havana to escape his life, only to find that life always has a way of catching up with you.

Bellows is joined in the Gravity’s Pull cast by Kathleen Robertson, Don McKellar, Tygh Runyan, John Pyper Ferguson, Matt Frewer and Greg Wise.

Also directing Gravity’s Pull is Tony Pantages, from a script that Bellows and Pantages wrote with Robertson, Terry Miles and David Weaver.

Bellows, Pantages and Sidney Chiu are producing.
