The actress will next star opposite Jack Black in Sony’s 'Goosebumps'

CAA has signed The Giver’s Odeya Rush, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. She was previously with Gersh.

The Israel-born actress played Fiona, the female lead in the recent Weinstein Co. drama, a role that was expanded from Lois Lowry’s original novel. At the Teen Choice Awards last month, she received the Olay Fresh Effects Breakout Star Award for the part.

Rush is following up with another adaptation of a beloved YA property — Sony’s Goosebumps, in which she will star as the niece of horror author R.L. Stine (Jack Black), whose fictional monsters are accidentally unleashed in the real world.

After guest spots on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rush made her feature film debut in Disney’s The Odd Life of Timothy Green, for which she received a supporting actress Young Artist Award nomination.

Rush continues to be repped by attorney Rick Genow at Stone Meyer.
