Reality TV is about to make way for yet another singing legend. Seven-time Grammy Award winner Gladys Knight, the "Empress of Soul," will serve as the lead judge on the new series Apollo Live

Knight is neither a novice to the stage nor to reality television. The Mowtown diva recently competed on ABC's 14th season of Dancing With the Stars.
