Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel took home the Golden Globe for best motion picture, comedy or musical.

The director joked that he wasn't going to thank his many frequent collaborators or stars (and then preceded to list them) but instead said he was going to thank the many people in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association who made his win possible. He then went on to muddle his way through a list of foreign names, surely mispronouncing many of them as the audience laughed.

His film, starring Ralph Fiennes, beat out Birdman, Into the Woods, Pride and St. Vincent

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted the show for the third consecutive time. The ceremony aired live on NBC.
