The zipper on the TV actress' vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress was replaced with a new one, but it still broke and she blames McDonald's.

It simply wouldn't be a memorable awards carpet without a celebrity wardrobe malfunction. At Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, the unfortunate mishap happened to red carpet newcomer Sarah Hyland, the adorable big-eyed Modern Family actress.

Hyland's wardrobe malfunction came to light thanks to intrepid E! correspondent Giuliana Rancic, who spotted the malfunction as it was happening and ordered a camera crew to capture it for posterity.
Afterwards, Hyland explained what happened: "I was just standing there waiting to come up here and I kind of just felt an explosion in my back. I felt my back and I felt bare back and I grabbed [my dress] before it was too late." Luckily she kept her simple zipper malfunction under control so that she was not just another actress on some sleazy website's nip slip list.
"It's been a very exciting time. I'm sewn into my dress!," Hyland exclaimed to the E! hostess, explaining that her dress was actually a vintage nude lace Dolce & Gabbana design. "It's really funny though," she mused. "We had the vintage zipper replaced."
Suddenly, the body image insecurity issues surfaced. "I didn't go on any like diets for this," said Hyland. "Maybe that's why it blew. Too much McDonald's."
Sigh. Another young actress scarred for life with weight issues.
