Google France head steps down

Mats Carduner was group’s regional director for 5 years

PARIS -- Before they organize Gaul's online information, Google France will be organizing its own infrastructure with the group's regional director Mats Carduner stepping down from his position, Google said Tuesday.

Head of Google's French subsidiary and Southern Europe for the past five years, Carduner will be temporarily replaced by current vp of Southern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Carlo Biondo d'Asaro, former director of AOL France.

Carduner left his position "to make his way towards new horizons," according to Gallic daily paper Le Figaro.
