The cameras caught the former Beatle struggling to contain himself during Ed Sheeran and ELO's performance.

As soon as Ed Sheeran joined David Lynne's reunited ELO onstage to perform "Mr. Blue Sky" at the 57th annual Grammy Awards, Paul McCartney jumped out of his seat in excitement.

Plenty other audience members got to their feet for Sunday's performance, but the cameras zeroed in on an unwitting McCartney in particular. The former Beatle and 21-time Grammy winner was caught clapping and singing along to the song before he finally noticed the cameras, gave an unabashed wave, and took his seat.

McCartney's enthusiasm at seeing ELO at the Grammys is understandable considering that this past September, the group reunited for their first performance in 28 years in London, performing hits like "Livin' Thing" and "Strange Magic."
