Grammys: Busta Rhymes Refers to Trump as "President Agent Orange" During A Tribe Called Quest Performance
The rap group's performance ended with a powerful "resist" chant.
Donald Trump was yet again a target during another major awards show.
Trump was referred to as "President Agent Orange" by A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes and Anderson .Paak, who also mentioned the controversial Muslim ban during their performance Sunday night, which included a medley of "Movin Backwards," "We the People" and "Award Tour."
"I wanna thank President Agent Orange for perpetuating all the evil that you’ve been perpetuating throughout the United States. I wanna thank President Agent Orange for your unsuccessful attempt at the Muslim ban. Now we come together!"
Not long after the performance, "President Agent Orange" was trending on Twitter.
The rap group's performance ended with them saying over and over "resist."
A Tribe Called Quest has been nominated twice at the Grammys for best rap album. James Corden hosted the 2017 Grammy Awards, which aired live on CBS on Sunday night.
