The performance comes just two days before “Elton John: I’m Still Standing — A Grammy Salute,” a tribute concert where John and longtime writing partner Bernie Taupin are set to receive the Recording Academy President’s Merit Award.

Previous Grammy nominee Miley Cyrus took the stage with five-time Grammy winner Elton John to perform one of his classic hits, "Tiny Dancer" on Sunday night's awards show.

John, who started the song alone, sang and played the piano, which had a white rose on top in honor of the #MeToo and Time's Up movements, and Cyrus joined him mid-song to finish out the duet.

"Tiny Dancer" first debuted in 1972 as a single off of John's fourth album, Madman Across the Water.

The performance comes just two days before “Elton John: I’m Still Standing — A Grammy Salute,” a tribute concert where John and longtime writing partner Bernie Taupin are set to receive the Recording Academy President’s Merit Award.

The 60th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by James Corden, aired live from New York's Madison Square Garden on CBS. See all the winners here
