Granada Int'l reups with N.Z. pubcaster

Deal covers 'Coronation Street,' 'Heartbeat' and more

CANNES -- Granada International has renewed its output deal with New Zealand public broadcaster TVNZ, giving viewers on TVNZ's flagship net TV One continued rights to such fare as popular ITV soap "Coronation Street."

Brokered by Augustus Dulgaro, senior vp sales at Granada International Australia, and Jeff Latch, head of television at TVNZ, the deal also covers such fare as "Heartbeat," "The Jeremy Kyle Show" and current drama "Lost in Austen."

Jane Wilson, GM of programming at TVNZ, said the deal brings "long-term stability and consistency" to its schedule.
