The drama by writer/director Dylan McCormick stars Donal Logue, Kate Walsh and Trieste Kelly Dunn.

Gravitas Ventures has acquired the North American rights to the romantic drama Sometime Other Than Now, written and directed by Dylan McCormick.

Gravitas plans a release in theaters and on demand on March 5, 2021. Sometime Other Than Now stars Donal Logue as Sam, a young man who after a motorcycle crash becomes stranded in a small New England town and a run-down motel looked after by Kate, played by Kate Walsh.

Sam discovers his estranged daughter Audrey, who he hasn't seen in 25 years since she was a little girl, lives in the town and he struggles to find the courage to reconnect to a woman who grew up without a father, until he lets something else in, new and unexpected, and discovers his capacity for love.

"The themes of redemption and forgiveness, the question of what happens when good people make bad choices are the essence of the story. It’s been truly astonishing to me, and deeply gratifying, to see Donal and Kate and the rest of the cast bring these characters so vividly to life," director McCormick said in a statement.

Sometime Other Than Now also stars Trieste Kelly Dunn, Amy Hargreaves, David Aaron Baker, Alexa Swinton, Sarah Jes Austell, and P.J. Marshall. The film is produced by Stan Erdreich of River Bend Pictures, and Michael Goodin of Monolith Pictures and Jackie Filer.

Gravitas Ventures manager of acquisitions Brett Rogalsky negotiated the distribution deal with Janne Barklis and Jay Cohen of Gersh and Emerson Bruns of Bruns Brennan Berry on behalf of the filmmakers.
