'Greek' actress lands roles in two films

Kali Hawk joins comedies 'Bridesmaids,' 'Let Go'

Kali Hawk
Kali Hawk has lined up two films for the summer.

The actress has joined the cast of "Bridesmaids," a Kristen Wiig comedy being made by Universal. She also will shoot "Let Go," an indie ensemble comedy with Ed Asner and Gillian Jacobs.

"Bridesmaids" stars Wiig as a maid of honor trying to please the snobby, rich bridesmaids at every wedding event before her best friend's nuptials. Rose Byrne and Maya Rudolph also star. Hawk plays a member of the posh crowd.

Wiig wrote the screenplay with Annie Mumolo. Paul Feig is directing. Apatow is producing through his Apatow Prods. banner with Barry Mendel.

"Let Go," written and directed by Brian Jett, revolves around a parole officer and three ex-cons under his supervision.

Hawk appeared in Apatow's "Get Him to the Greek" and played Faizon Love's love interest in last year's Vince Vaughn comedy "Couples Retreat."

Hawk recently signed with management firm Genesis Entertainment and continues to be repped by UTA.
