A Fox spokesperson confirms that Greek creator and exec producer Patrick Sean Smith is developing a one-hour drama and adventure series for the network, as first reported by TVLine. With the working title Wanderlust, the pilot series follows a group of young teen international travelers.

In addition to Smith’s unique eye for teen drama, the series is being produced by Imagine TV (Friday Night Lights, Felicity, Parenthood) for 20th Century Fox.

Smith created and exec produced Greek for its four-season run on ABC Family. The comedy, which frequently depicted drinking and sexual situations, represented the network’s move into more edgy programming for young viewers as opposed to its formerly “family friendly” offerings.

Before Greek, Smith honed his skills as a writer on EverwoodSupernatural, and Summerland.
