Greg Plitt, Actor and 'Work Out' Star, Dies at 37
He had a recurring role on 'Days of Our Lives' and appeared in 2013's 'Grudge Match.'
Greg Plitt, an actor, fitness model and the star of Bravo's Work Out, died Saturday in Burbank when he was struck by a Metrolink train. He was 37.
Burbank police say Plitt was with several friends who may have been filming a video at the time, and the incident seems to have been accidental, according to ABC 7. An eyewitness tells ABC 7 that Plitt was wearing all black and had a camcorder in his hand.
The collision occurred at 4:10 p.m., slightly north of the Burbank Metrolink Station. Police are continuing to investigate.
Plitt starred on Work Out in 2008. He also appeared on three episodes of Days of Our Lives and had roles in the films Terminator Salvation and Grudge Match.
In his Work Out introduction, Plitt said he was from Baltimore and attended West Point, after which he spent five years with the Army Rangers. He then moved to New York to pursue a modeling career.
