Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Miscarriage, Says She 'Nearly Died'
The 40-year-old actress says, "I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third."
Gwyneth Paltrow says she "nearly died" when her third pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage.
"I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here, or should we go back and try again?'" the actress reveals in an interview with the Daily Mail's You magazine.
"My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in," she says. "I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it."
Paltrow, 40, is mom to daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6 with her husband, Coldplay's Chris Martin.
"Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father," she observes of Martin. "[Chris] is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support."
Meanwhile, she calls Blue Ivy Carter -- the 1-year-old daughter of close friends Beyonce and Jay-Z -- "totally delish." However, Paltrow adds: "She's made me very broody."
