Leave it to Goop to introduce the picture gallery of Gwyneth Paltrow's marriage to Brad Falchuck by thanking the "gods."

When the wellness and lifestyle brand published photos of the October wedding party on Friday, the gallery began, "September 29 was a bright fall day in New York — sunny and cool with a crispness in the air. In other words, the gods complied on GP’s wedding day."

The wedding took place in Hamptons destination Amagansett, New York, and was attended by just 70 guests (Steven Spielberg, Robert Downey Jr., Jerry Seinfeld, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden among them.) According to Goop, the event included a rehearsal dinner on Sept. 28, "where wedding guests dined alfresco under a canopy of bistro lights." The wedding day, in addition to the aforementioned perfect weather, included "a dance party for the ages and a dress party that defies adjectives."

Let this writer provide some: The A-line Valentino gown with cap sleeves and a sweetheart neckline was lacey, classic and very patrician.

Photos of the event depicted outdoor dining, a live-fire cooking setup commanded by Argentine chef Francis Mallman — who purportedly roasted pineapples for 12 hours for the occasion — Monique Lhuillier dresses for Paltrow's daughters, some fancy golf carts and Downey Jr. making a toast.

Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin before announcing their divorce in a post infamously titled "Consciously Uncoupling" on Goop.
