Halifax's 'Bo' on go to Asia


TORONTO -- Canadian cartoon producer Halifax Film on Wednesdaysaid that it has sold the first two seasons of its preschool series "Bo on the GO!" to Cartoon Network in Asia.

Nova-Scotia-based Halifax said Cartoon Network picked up the animated series about a young heroine that uses motion capture technology and computer generated animation for its channels in India, Taiwan and the Philippines.

The Canadian producer also sold "Bo" to DIGITURK, Al Jazeera Children's Channel, M-Net in South Africa, Finland's YLE and KidsTalkTalk in Korea.

The latest deals come on top of an earlier sale to France 5 (HR 3/18).
