Whether you're hosting a bash or Netflix-and-chill is more your style over Halloween weekend, let these five drink recipes help get you in the spooky spirit.

Halloween isn't just for the tween-set; adults know how to have a frighteningly good time too. Case in point, there are more than 220 million Halloween ideas saved annually in the U.S. on Pinterest and no surprise Hollywood is a major inspiration this year — Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies and Stranger Things are all costume and party themes that are trending on the social media platform right now.

But what's a celebration without libations? From creepy to cheeky, scroll through five cocktail recipes that are sure to lift spirits and keep guests having a bloody good time.

Mysterious Milano 

1 oz. DISARONNO

3 oz. Bourbon/Rye

3 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Orange Peel Garnish

Method: Add all ingredients into a mixing glass. Stir with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

ToKillYa Pumpkin 

1.5 oz of Clase Azul Plata tequila

0.5 oz de Strega

1 oz grapefruit juice

0.5 oz of real lemon juice

1 oz of pumpkin spice syrup.

0.5 oz egg white.

Method: Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Pour all ingredients in shaker, shake and strain into a chilled glass.

The Darkside 

1½ oz. Nemiroff Original Vodka 

2 oz. Black Currant Juice

½ oz. Chartreuse

Method: Stir ingredients with ice in a mixing glass and strain into a chilled martini glass. 

Pump’skin

Ingredients:

2 oz Kentucky straight bourbon

1/2 oz demerara syrup

½ oz lemon juice

Pumpkin wedge

1 egg white 

Angustura bitters

1 candied pumpkin (optional)

Method: Roast a pumpkin wedge, braised with ginger, at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. Muddle the pumpkin in a shaker. Combine with bourbon, demerara syrup, lemon juice and egg white. Dry shake. Add ice. Shake and strain into a coupe. Garnish with two drops of Angutura bitters, and one candied pumpkin, placed over the egg white foam.

White Walker

1 oz. DEWAR’S 12 Blended Scotch Whisky infused with Rye and turmeric

1 oz.  Applejack

½ oz.  fresh lemon juice 

¼ oz.  Ancho Reyes

¼ oz.  simple syrup 

¾ oz.  egg white

Method: Rinse the Coupe glass with Absinthe. Combine all ingredients, dry shake and pour into a glass.
